The City of Bennington partners with Douglas County for building permits and inspections.
Most permits for residents and businesses in this area are issued through the Douglas County Permits and Inspections Department, which also provides services to Bennington, Valley, and Waterloo. In many cases, the City of Omaha’s Planning Department will issue permits for projects located within Douglas County.
